Susan Czech-3 funeral

Funeral of Mrs. Korda

Many relatives and friends of Mrs. Anton Korda [Susan Czech-3], 661 Prentice street, who died Friday afternoon, attended funeral services for her Monday morning. Rev. Julius Cbylinski officiated at a requiem high mass at 9 o’clock at St. Peters’ church.

The Holy Name choir of St. Peter’s church sang a requiem mass. Members of the Rosary society attended the services in a body.

  • Bill Swetalla [William Swetalla-1, son of Josephine Korda-2],
  • Melvin Kirschling-1,[son of Antoinette Korda-2]
  • Nufrey Gosh-1 [Husband of Gertrude Kirschling-1, daughter of Antoinette Korda-2],
  • Ed Sommers-1[Husband of Mayme Swetalla-1, daughter of Josephine Korda-2] and
  • Ferdinand Schettle [Ferdinand Schettl-1, Husband of Evelyn Kirschling-1, daughter of Antoinette Korda-2].

Those from away who attended the funeral included her sons and daughters-in-law,

  • Mr. and Mrs. Frank Korda-2 [and second wife, Clara Kirschbaum-2] and
  • Mr. and Mrs. Leo Korda-2 [and wife, Emma UNKNOWN-2]and their son, Billy [William Korda-1], of Chicago;

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Swetalla-2 [and wife, Josephine Korda-2] and their son, Bill [William Swetalla-1], of Lanark and their daughter, Josephine [Josephine Swetalla-1], of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sommers [Edward Sommers-1and wife Mayme Swetalla-1] of Arnott;

Mr. and Mrs. August Kirschling-2 [and wife, Antoinette Korda-2] of Stockton; Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Schettle [Ferdinand Schettl-1 and wife, Evelyn Kirschling-1] and Mrs. Walter Schroeder [Elizabeth Kirschling-1] of Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Nufery Gosh [Neufrey Gosh-1 and wife, Gertrude Kirschling-1] of Arnott;
