1897 A point of Korda family honor

Stevens Point Journal
3 July 1897

A few days ago Frank Kardoc of the Fourth ward plead guilty to stealing pigeons in company with several other boys. The name on the warrant was Frank Korda and the name so appeared in print. There happens to be a boy in the city bearing the latter name [Frank Korda-2] and he wants it understood that he was not the guilty party.

[Note: original story June 26, 1897 reported that five boys ages 7-10 stole 16 doves on June 20 from Will Helminiski, were given a warning in court that repetition would be reform school.]
