Was Near Death's Door

Frank Korda-2 came up from Chicago last Sunday morning to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Korda-3, 661 Prentice street, and among other relatives. Frank is just recovering from an eight weeks' siege with influenza-pneumonia, and during a portion of this time there seemed little chance for recovery. Mrs. Korda [Marie Mitz-2] was taken with the disease at about the same time as her husband and died within a few days.Because of his condition, Frank was not informed of his wife's death until a couple of weeks ago.
