Mrs. Antoinette Korda
Mrs. Antoinette Korda [Antonia Kluck-2], 82, who resided with her son, John [John Korda-1], at 500 Prentice street, died Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at St. Michael's hospital.
Mrs. Korda had entered the hospital as a patient only yesterday morning. She had suffered poor health for the past four years, having been a hospital patient once before about two years ago.
The former Antoinette Kluck was born March 11, 1871 in Poland, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Kluck. She came to this country at the age of 14 with her grandmother and they lived with relatives in Michigan a short time before coming to Stevens Point. She had resided here since.
In 1897, she was married at St. Peter's Catholic church to John Korda [John Korda-2] and they made their home afterward at 508 Prentice street.
Mrs. Korda had resided there until four years ago, living since with her son, John. Her husband died 47 years ago.
She was a member of the Rosary society at St. Peter's.
Surviving, besides her son, are two grandchildren [Lillian C Korda-0 and John Korda-0]. She was preceded in death by another son, Edward [Edward Korda-1], who died 25 years ago, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at St. Peter's , with burial to follow in St. Peter's cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dzikoski funeral home from this afternoon until the time of services. Prayers will be recited there by the Rosary society this evening and Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. A general rosary ha been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wenesday.
