1928 Edward Korda-1, son of John Korda-2, dies after car accident

Car Injuries Fatal

The body of Edward Korda [Edward Korda-1] , son of Mrs. Antonia Korda [Antonia Kluck-2], 508 Prentice street, will be brought here from Chicago on Saturday and taken to his mother's home to await funeral services, to be held next Monday or Tuesday. Deceased, who was 31 years of age and employed by a sewer contracting firm in Chicago for the past year, passed away Thursday night as the result of injuries he sustained in an automobile accident seven weeks ago. He was hit by a car and his spine fractured. There is one other son in the family, John Korda [John Korda-1], an employe of the Wisconsin Valley Electric company in this city.

Funeral Here Tuesday

Victor S. Prais went to Chicago on an early train this morning and will return tonight with the remains of Edward Korda [Edward Korda-1], 508 Prentice street, who died there Thursday as the result of automobile injuries suffered nearly two months ago when his spine was fractured. The funeral will be held from St. Peter's church next Tuesday morning, with interment in Guardian Angel cemetery.

Edward Corda Funeral

The funeral of Edward Corda [Edward Korda-1], Chicago, whose body was brought here, was held Tuesday morning from St. Peter's church, with burial following in St. Peter's cemetery. Rev S.A. Elbert officiated. The pallbearers were James Tierney, Alex Stroik, Walter Politowski, Roman Vrobel, H.E. Smith and John Winecki.
