William Korda-1, son of Louis F. Korda-2, drowns

William Korda-1, 31, Chicago, son of the late (sic! Leo was still alive) Leo Korda-2, a former Stevens Point resident, drowned Saturday while swimming in the Lake Winnebago harbor at Oshkosh Saturday.
Mr. Korda is the nephew of Mrs. Mae Burand (sic, Mae Korda-1, Durand), 429 Prentice St.
Funeral services will be held in Chicago Wednesday morning.

Mass for William L. Korda-1, 31, of 4845 Parker st., who drowned Saturday while swimming in Lake Winnebago, Oshkosh, Wis., will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Genevieve's Catholic church, 4835 W. Altgeld st. Mr. Korda was a sales representative for the Ingersoll-Rand company, Milwaukee, Survivors include his father, Leo F. Korda-2; and a sister [Virginia Korda-1].
